For these particular clients, additional light and ventilation within their existing attic is what they required. Unsure of their options, these clients discovered Roof Space Renovators on the internet. Roof Space Renovators are ‘attic conversion’ specialists as well as ‘roof window’ specialists. As a result, the combination of our experience and knowledge in both areas has enabled us to incorporated the perfect range of attic skylights into our product range.

The Skylight Solution

Wanting a little more information on possible solutions prior to organising a measure and quote, these clients visited our showroom. Our showroom is located in Brendale and has a range of attic related products, as well as skylight products on display for viewing and using.

Upon visiting our showroom, these clients became particularly interested in the ‘dual-action opening’ attic skylights in the Fakro range.

These attic windows are perfect for within reach applications and function in two different modes. The windows can be operated outwards from a handle at the bottom (top hung mode).

However, they also operate from the centre, rotating 180° (centre pivoting mode). This feature allows for increased air-flow and provides a safe and simple way to clean the glass. Optional accessories, such as blinds and flyscreens are also available.

Now equipped with product knowledge, these clients organised a date and time for our consultant to visit their home, in order to provide them with a measure and quote.

As a result, these clients ended up accepting our quote for the supply and installation of two of the largest Fakro dual-action opening attic skylights. Shortly after, we installed the attic skylights side-by-side into the roof and also completed the internal make-up of the existing timber ceiling.
