For this client, he was fed up with paying a hefty $300+ per month in storage rental fees. Seeking possible alternatives, he began his research and stumbled across the concept of attic storage. Roof Space Renovators have multiple levels of roof storage options and various attic ladder models. Therefore the costs involved can vary substantially from person to person and home to home. Wanting some extra information, he visited our showroom in Brendale to discuss. Visiting our showroom gave this client the opportunity to meet some of our staff, discuss our roof storage options and view and use our range of attic ladders.

Whilst our showroom staff cannot provide fixed quotes, we can give you a general idea of the available options and the starting prices for each. Following a quick calculation, this client realised that depending on what storage option and size he decided on, he could very well have an attic storage area paid off in less than a year, when considering the $300 per month in storage rental he would be saving. Further, the installation of an attic ladder and roof storage area is a home improvement / addition.

Following a visit from our consultant who measured the area and provided the client with his available options and the costs involved for each, this client decided on a mid-range performance ladder and a huge 27.5m2 of basic storage flooring. It is important to note that our storage flooring is laid to engineers specifications and allows for 75kg per m2 storage capacity + foot traffic.

The client was very happy with the end result. He arranged to have his electrician install a fluro LED batten in the storage space and sent us the below photos with this comment – ‘Thanks for the prompt and professional service, the job looks fantastic and I know it will get a lot of use’.
