The Columbus Flat Roof is a concertina style ladder designed with a metal external trap to allow easy rooftop access to flat roofs. The ladder itself is made from light alloy and galvanised metal parts. It includes a safety handrail, can extend to 3.66 metres and has a 200kg per tread weight load capacity, along with many other quality features such as a multi-laminar wood frame and hatch.

This client required safe and easy access to the rooftop of an office building for roof repairs and air conditioner servicing. We installed the ladder into the office ceiling and the trap door into the roof. The clients and tradespeople are now able to easily access the rooftop, without the need for a cherry picker each time. This saves time and money in ongoing additional costs.
