Types of Skylights Brisbane

At Roof Space Renovators, we believe in using only the best, which is why all our skylights are glass.

Our glass skylights are available in 5 different brands, numerous sizes and various models:

Flyscreens are fitted as standard to manual, electric and solar opening skylights. Blinds are available in manual, electric and solar (depending on skylight models).

Skylight Replacement Process

First we need to conduct a measure and quote. An appointment with our consultant will be set for within a week or two of contacting us.
The consultant provides a quote and then we organise a date for works to commence. This can be anywhere between 2 – 6 weeks depending on our work load.
A skylight replacement involves removing the existing skylight, including the old flashings etc and replacing it completely with a glass unit and recommended flashings.
We then need to complete the internal works to suit the new skylight size. We build a new shaft, or if there is an existing shaft we may be able to make modifications to suit the new skylight.

Skylight Replacement Cost and Warranty

The cost is entirely dependent on skylight size, model (opening or non-opening), roof type (tile or corrugated iron), highset / lowset, required internal works and other factors.

Our skylights themselves have varying product warranties. If the works exceed $3300 we have to lodge the job with the QBCC and the homeowner is required to pay a QBCC insurance, which covers our workmanship for 6 years and 6 months.
