Traditional Queenslanders are beautiful unique homes full of personality and charm. However, because they lack in storage spaces – built in wardrobes and linen cupboards, most need additional storage.

As Queenslanders have steeply pitched roofs, converting the roof space into a storage space, could help solve storage issues at an affordable cost, as opposed to conducting expensive extensions or raising the home.

Queenslanders are perfect for basic attic storage or clean attic storage rooms. Some Queenslander roof spaces are even suitable for Deluxe Attic Conversions or even Attic Living Conversions.

Attic Ladders

For a Queenslander, due to their impressive ceiling heights we recommend ladders with a gental climbing angle, both as the most aesthetically pleasing and safe option.

We would suggest the Stairladder Deluxe in either the 680wide or 880wide model. The Stairladder Deluxe is a furniture grade ladder and has a 57° climbing angle and reaches 3.5 metres.
