These clients have a vision to eventually have their roof space transformed into a bedroom. However, for the time being until they have everything sorted, they required a practical and safe place for storage.

Attic storage had been something they had been considering for quite a while. The idea was to tidy up the garage by moving those items into the attic. With the garage tidy, this meant they could use the garage for items they require more regularly, such as bikes, golf gear and the cars.

Job: Transform unused roof space into a large dust-proof storage room

Location: Corinda

This amazing 30m2 dust-proof storage room was created in the roof space of a home in Corinda, South of Brisbane. Like the majority of our clients, this family required more space. However, whilst many of our clients only require an area to store occasional use items they only need to access a couple of times a year, these clients desired a room to store the items they require regularly, enabling them to keep their living areas clutter-free.

Job: Create a Functional, Basic Storage Area in the Roof Space

Location: Carindale

These clients were searching for an in-home storage solution to store their occasional use items. Basic roof space storage offers a safe and easy-to-access home storage option, which we presented to these clients.

The consultant checked the roof space and established it was ideal for storage. Unfortunately there were some electrical cables and some plumbing running through the highest part of the roof space, therefore an electrician and plumber was required to clear the space before the storage flooring could be installed.

These clients were aware of the enormity of their dark and dusty roof space. They required additional space in their home for their older children and the plan was to convert the roof space into two extra bedrooms and an additional living area.

Roof Space Renovators’ were called and an in-home consultation booked. Our consultant quickly established that the roof space was perfect for the clients planned attic conversion and the process began. The space was designed to incorporate the three rooms required and the clients decided on four of the largest size Fakro roof windows for light and ventilation.

Job: To build a walk in robe into the roof space of a unit in Hamilton.

Description: This client had a small walk in robe with a door that lead into the roof space of his unit. The client was well aware of the wasted space beyond the door, however hadn’t given it a thought until he seen our ‘Roof Space Renovators’ advert in a local directory.

Our consultant worked with the client to design the robe. Roof Space Renovators’ engaged an engineer to provide us with comprehensive instructions regarding the renovation to ensure the structural integrity of the building remained.

Job: To bring natural light into a dark dining area.

Location: Heritage Park.

Due to the layout of this home, the dining area was left with very limited natural light. The positioning of the patio area meant that it absorbed all the light, leaving the dining room beyond, dark.

Roof Space Renovators’ were engaged to lighten up this dark space with our ‘roof window’ style skylights. Our glass skylights not only bring in the natural light, but are a beautiful feature in the home. Exactly what our client desired.

Roof Space Renovators’ are storage specialists. We have multiple storage options if attic storage is not desired or not practical.

This client required a tidy, functional area for her teenage children to store their sporting equipment. With the GarageTek wall panelling system and accessories, we were able to create a storage area tucked away in the corner, still allowing the client full use of the garage.

These clients were using their garage to store their occasional use items. Unfortunately though, having a cluttered garage meant they couldn’t use the garage for its intended purpose – to park the cars.

Roof Space Renovators’ were engaged to create an easily accessible, functional storage area in the roof space for the owners to be able to store the items they only needed occasionally.
