These clients needed additional storage for items such as camping and sporting gear. They liked the concept of attic storage, however had a slightly different idea. They wanted to use the roof space of their carport for storage as it would be easy access and storage right near their car.

Our consultant visited to conduct a measure and quote. It was decided that 10m2 of storage flooring was achievable giving the clients the best use of the space. They also chose the Nordic Performance Pine ladder as it is a very good quality, strong, yet budget ladder that has a 160kg load capacity.

These clients were searching for an in-home storage solution to store their occasional use items. Basic roof space storage offers a safe and easy-to-access home storage option, which we presented to these clients.

The consultant checked the roof space and established it was ideal for storage. Unfortunately there were some electrical cables and some plumbing running through the highest part of the roof space, therefore an electrician and plumber was required to clear the space before the storage flooring could be installed.

These clients were aware of the enormity of their dark and dusty roof space. They required additional space in their home for their older children and the plan was to convert the roof space into two extra bedrooms and an additional living area.

Roof Space Renovators’ were called and an in-home consultation booked. Our consultant quickly established that the roof space was perfect for the clients planned attic conversion and the process began. The space was designed to incorporate the three rooms required and the clients decided on four of the largest size Fakro roof windows for light and ventilation.
