The Columbus Flat Roof is a concertina style ladder designed with a metal external trap to allow easy rooftop access to flat roofs. The ladder itself is made from light alloy and galvanised metal parts, includes a safety handrail, can extend to 3.66 metres and has a 200kg per tread weight load capacity, along with many other quality features such as a multi-laminar wood frame and hatch.

These clients needed additional storage for items such as camping and sporting gear. They liked the concept of attic storage, however had a slightly different idea. They wanted to use the roof space of their carport for storage as it would be easy access and storage right near their car.

Our consultant visited to conduct a measure and quote. It was decided that 10m2 of storage flooring was achievable giving the clients the best use of the space.
